Beverly Hills

•    Start off with breakfast, that most important meal of the day.  The Sunrise Croissant Sandwich at Jack n’ Jill’s will keep you from missing a beat as you begin the day’s adventure.  For a more leisurely breakfast, consider The Blvd at the Beverly Wilshire hotel where you can people-watch in the elegant dining room or dine al fresco on the outdoor patio overlooking Rodeo Drive.

•    Walk off breakfast as you explore this very compact city – an area less than six square miles.  Pick up a free self-guided walking tour brochure at the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and choose to Walk in the Footsteps of Celebrities or admire the remarkable and very public display of Art and Architecture throughout this city.

•    Rest your tootsies and hop aboard the Beverly Hills Trolley for a fun 40-minute tour of the city, highlighting the history, architecture and homes made famous by celebrities, past and present, in this, the world’s most famous zip code!

•    Now might be the perfect time for a light bite from one of the “sweet” shops in town.  A stop at Sprinkles Cupcakes for one of their melt-in-your-mouth creations is pretty much a not-to-be-missed activity.  For something a little lighter, treat yourself to the sweet/tart combination of the natural frozen yogurt at Pinkberry . . . or if you’re looking for out-of-the-ordinary, try a chocolate or fruit-filled Japanese crepe at Harajuku Crepe.

•    Before heading to your next destination, linger in one or more of the many chic boutiques on Rodeo and Beverly Drives.  Or take in a screening at The Paley Center for Media, a Richard Meier-designed gem, with a library of more than 140,000 classic radio and television programs.  Where else will you find your favorite episode from the original Beverly Hills 90210?

West Hollywood

•    Grab lunch and be part of the scene at La Conversation or Urth Caffe, two neighborhood-friendly cafes favored by celebrities.

•    Nourished, stroll and shop along The Avenues (Robertson Blvd., Beverly Blvd., and Melrose Avenue). Here, visitors and locals alike browse world-class shops for the finest in art, fashion, and high-end home furnishings. The Avenues is home to unique shops and world famous names such as Alberta Ferretti, Christian Louboutin and Stella McCartney, along with local boutiques and designers like Kitson, Alpha Man and J. Gerard Design Studio & Peace Gallery. Not to be missed is the 1.2 million square-foot Pacific Design Center; visit the outdoor plaza where you will find the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) West.

•    Before heading over to trendsetting Melrose Avenue, where visitors can find cutting-edge fashions to suit their every mood, indulge in an early evening drink at the Abbey, one of LA’s hot spots for gay and straight visitors.

•    Tonight, dine at one of over 130 restaurants and cafes, including Lucques, Cecconi’s, Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood and Robert DeNiro’s Ago.

•    It wouldn’t be West Hollywood without a party.  After dinner pick your favorite - cocktails, concerts, dancing, or electronic bull riding (or any combination) – you’ll find it on the Sunset Strip.  Venues include The Roxy, Whisky a Go-Go, Saddle Ranch, Viper Room, Key Club and House of Blues.  All hotels on the Sunset Strip feature a bar or cocktail lounge with trendy scenes.
